Terrain

The country in three dimensions, with its assets and threats on the real terrain. What happens on the ground is seen where it happens.

A dot on a flat map can't tell you whether a tower sits on the slope facing the fire, or whether a municipality is cut off when the river rises. Terrain, roads and waterways change the answer.

Terrain, the territorial twin, brings together terrain, municipal boundaries, roads, waterways and geolocated assets in 3D, with live layers on top: wildfires, earthquakes, river flows, outages, vessels and land-use change.

Every object on the map is an object in the ontology: tap a tower to see its owner, contracts and exposure; tap a wildfire to see which assets and municipalities it reaches.

Emergencies are simulated on the same terrain — a wildfire, an earthquake, a river or canal flooding: Terrain computes the footprint, the exposed assets and population and the cascade through dependencies, with many runs to show a range rather than a single number.

What it delivers

  • Terrain, municipalities, roads and waterways
  • Live layers on the terrain
  • Every map object linked to the ontology
  • Exposure calculated on real terrain
  • Emergency simulation: footprint, exposure and cascade
