Civitas

The country comes down to the commune. Each municipality sees its territory, its assets and its risks in a single view, with the source of every data point.

Civitas is the commune inside Focus: the country, then Chile with its regions and, finally, each of its communes, on the same data model.

The municipal view brings together crime commune by commune, 2024 Census population by city block, the territory's exposure to wildfires, earthquakes and floods, and emergency scenarios on Terrain, the territorial twin.

The municipality's assets — cameras, totems, street lights — are loaded from a spreadsheet and sit on the same map used by the dispatch center and the public-safety department.

What it delivers

  • Crime commune by commune
  • 2024 Census population by city block
  • Municipal assets loaded from a spreadsheet
  • Emergency scenarios on Terrain
  • Available for any commune in the country

Who it's for

  • Municipalities and public-safety departments
  • Regional governments
  • Municipal emergency centers

Tenure

Who occupies the land, and on what title: informal settlements and land seizures spotted from orbit, and housing subsidies checked against who receives them.

The national register of informal settlements is updated every two or three years, and a new land seizure can take hold in weeks. Housing subsidies are granted on the information given on the day of application and are rarely reviewed afterwards.

Tenure starts from the official settlement register and the 2024 Census by city block, then compares satellite imagery to spot new or growing occupations on public or private land. Using the Attest engine, it checks subsidy recipients against property, companies, family ties and death records. Everything sits in Civitas, commune by commune.

What it delivers

  • New or growing settlements and land seizures
  • Public or private land affected
  • Recipients checked against property and companies
  • Payments to the deceased and to relatives
  • Commune-by-commune view in Civitas

Who it's for

  • Housing ministries and regional housing services
  • Municipalities
  • Comptrollers
  • Landowners exposed to seizures
