Serendyp checks every purchase order published on ChileCompra against company ownership, partners in the SII registry, administrative sanctions and the press. An order is flagged when the winning supplier has a medium or high severity alert.
In April, 10.8% of the month's orders fell into that group. The most frequent signals were related suppliers (9,771 orders), bridge companies (4,643), supplier rings (1,944) and concentration on a single supplier (1,345). One order can carry more than one signal.
1,358 of those orders were direct awards. Each alert is a lead with its source and date, not an accusation: the review happens in the supplier's profile before any decision.
