Serendyp checks every purchase order published on ChileCompra against company ownership, partners in the SII registry, administrative sanctions and the press. An order is flagged when the winning supplier has a medium or high severity alert.
In May, 10.8% of the month's orders fell into that group. The most frequent signals were related suppliers (8,958 orders), bridge companies (4,227), supplier rings (1,686) and concentration on a single supplier (1,307). One order can carry more than one signal.
